Along with Vulne Pro studio’s original work on the Theos KE Polemos project, every now and then, I’m going to post some of the fan works we’ve gotten since the TKP works began to gradually build a following online. This is a fantastic example to kick things off: a low poly game style 3D model of the Harma Bhatra 4th gen combat FOIL by Devaint artist Seig Verdelet.

To say I was both surprised and quite impressed by this one is an understatement. Seig Verdelet picked one of the more visually complex FOILs to model and he did a fantastic job, even lacking orthos to work from (his interpretation of the back isn’t far from what it would be if I had done othos). Very nice work indeed. Please take a gander at his original post on Deviant art (along with his entire gallery, some nice 3D mecha work goin’ down) and download the 3D viewer to get a gander at this bad boy in 360 degree rotatable view. It even has a cool little video game idle animation going on :) Again my thanks to Seig Verdelet for taking the time to create this great homage piece.
Note: you’ll have to visit Sieg Verdelet’s original post below to actually download the 3D viewer. Click download file, to the right of the image of the FOIL in his post. It’s well worth checking out with the full 360 views.

The full paint of the late 4th gen Waimanu Harma Bhatra combat FOIL. This design was very much a collaboration between myself (Mike Majestic) and Karl Östlund. The design of this FOIL is based on Karl’s original ‘Modular Mech’ design, also featured in this posting. I’ve also re-posted the line art as well. This was a blast to work on and something that has a good deal of both of our visual design sensibilities throughout.

Full digital paint, from 2009, of a late 4th gen/early 5th gen combat FOIL the Schnellgail. There will likely be an updated and refined version of this, and many of the older full paint FOILs, in the future.Original posting at Deviant art with additional information here: http://vulnepro.deviantart.com/art/Jeindel-Schnellgail-S-OP-FOIL-147578645

Early character designs, from 2010, for the TKP BADAN SONG project. Updated 2013 versions of the characters will appear soon this year, along with a great deal more material from this project.
