A collection of TKP walker tanks thumb roughs. Again there’s some clear WWII aesthetic pastiches to a degree (both sheets the bottom assault gun types) mixed into the Theos-ification visual style. There will likely be refined ink and paint versions of these in the future.

Collection 11-20 of Theos KE Polemos rough art board environment scenes for locations on the labyrinthine architectural planet Indus. As with the previous batch many of these sketches were done while at the laundromat (those with digital color had that applied later of course). Many of these were riffed out rather quickly as well but with the more detailed scenes it naturally varied in time.

Unlike the collection of Polemon locations Indus is an enclosed architectural expanse with no natural lighting (sun) so it’s all artificial light in various hues of amber and greens (sodium vapor), neon, florescent, etc. The locations on Indus are very much classic film noir in atmosphere and tone.

Collection 1-10 of Theos KE Polemos rough art board environment scenes of locations on planet Polemos. The only exceptions are the top scene of art board 9 and the bottom scene on 10 are Indus locations. Indus is covered extensively in collections 11-20.

Polemos is a somewhat Earth-like world with vast desert plains and patches of lush vegetation. This is the planet where the combat FOILs of Theos KE Polemos are engaged in a very controlled theatrical form of warfare. Human settlements are typically city states with considerable anti-FOIL defenses such as artillery turrets, pill boxes, walking tanks, etc. These city states are neutral territory to FOIL combat however these defenses are necessary because any rouge FOIL can cause considerable destruction and loss of life. Tragedies in the past have supported this perpetual war footing. 

Many of these sketches were done while at the laundromat in roughly 5 to 10 minutes, or so, per (those with digital color had that applied later of course). All in all rather quick location roughs.
